i would like to share my yesterday haul ! i bought 2 blending brush,first i bought coastal scents pro fluff blending brush and second i bought sigma E25 blending brush. actually i never meant to buy the sigma in this month ,i bought it because luxola discount 30%,in the first place i want to buy sigma F40 because i want that brush for so long,because from head to toe said that the f40 is an amazing brush,but when i already get it on my shopping chart,ITS ACCIDENTALLY SOLD OUT,so im pretty upset about it,so since i dont want to not buying something,i decide to buy sigma E25. i didnt really want to buy it because i already order coastal scents pro fluff blending brush,and i dont want receive 2 same brush in one time,but what always happened,life!lol
so here it is,im gonna explain lil bit about them. both of them is mac 217 dupe,which is more expensive than both of them (mac 217 cost $24 or Rp.320.000) so since im not gonna buy the mac 217 like this year,so i decided to buy the dupe first!since my sister knows about the mac217,she said that the both of them are really similar with mac 217, but with the cheaper price.actually theres one other dupe of mac 217,its hakuhodo J5523 it cost like $18,but i plan to buy it when i go to japan on march because its maybe cheaper than the US price lol
okay let me explain the sigma first
the sigma E25 ($12/Rp.160.000),the brush stands 6 iches tall with a strong black handle,the bristles is made from synthetic but it seems like natural (goat) bristles because it smells like goat.the bristles is white and very smooth and fluffy,but they are stiff enough to blend eyeshadow perfectly.the performance of this brush is amazing,it maybe a bit expensive for a blending brush,but you could say thats the brush is cheaper than mac 217,if you like doing eye make up or trying out ,then to blend the eyeshadow is crucial and this brush makes blending alot easier and flawless,you wont feel any roughness on your skin,since the bristles are super soft! i couldnt say anything more,because i'm falling in love with this brush,since i really love brushes and i have many of it,and i would say this one is my fav blending brush now,i already use few blending brush before i use it,and never had the best blending brush like this,i couldnt see any harsh line no more by using this brush,so you have to buy this sigma E25!its like not always accident make you sad,sometimes the accident and unexpected shopping like this,is wayyyy better than the planed one!
NOW!i like to review the coastal scents blending brush
the coastal scents pro blending fluff brush ($3,95/Rp.85.000),the brushes stand 5 inches tall with white bristles,the bristles made from natural hair (goat hair),the bristels is smooth,really fluffy, and densely packed.i already order this brush when the coastal scents discount 20% ,before i bought it i already knew that this brush is mac 217 dupe and have great reviews,it also always sold out on their websites,so i think im lucky to got this brush,because after a week i order it,the website said that this brush already soldout and will be back soon,im glad i have this brush because im in love since the first time i saw it on someone's blog,but sadly when i use this brush,its lil bit stratchy,so i dont think that this one is a very similar dupe of mac 217,even the blending is smooth and the harsh line's gone but it doesnt feel good in my lid,but maybe if you compare with sigma E25 and mac 217 or even hakuodo,its lil bit different,since the price is way cheaper than the 3 of them,but i still like this brush because u onlyspend lil of your money and you can get the best brushes in their price (under $10),and this brush is thicker than the sigma E25,however i really recomended this blending brush to my friends/make up junkie.if they want to buy brush under $10/100.000, i have to say i love this,and u have to try!its worth it :)
the comparison between sigma E25 and coastal scents pro blending fluff brush
you can see the one which have "sigma" signature is sigma blending brush E25 and the other one is coastal scents pro blending fluff brush .i love them both,they are so look alike but then again,i think the sigma e25 is more similar with mac 217,but the coastal scents is one of a good dupe of mac 217 tough even its lil but stratchy,but i do recomended it to you guys,so if you have another option,please comment below!
